Stockmar Beeswax Crayons

These outstanding crayons foster and lend themselves particularly well to wide-stroke drawing which encourages motor activity and inner relaxation. For the young child, block crayons are easily held and allow coloring without being overly concerned with lines. STOCKMAR WATERCOLORS
Stockmar watercolours are ideal for wet-on-wet and transparent painting. They are produced from gum arabic and the finest light-resistant colour pigments, have a very high yield-value, remain completely water-soluble when dry and are non-toxic. The colour tones have been chosen so that they can be mixed to give all intermediate shades without losing their brilliance and intensity. Begin with a dilution of 10 parts water to 1 part pigment.
Colours are based on the natural graduation of the colour-circle in accordance with Goethe's theory of colours.

Flat Watercolor Brushes
High quality watercolor brushes made by a family owned paintbrush manufacturer in New York. A fine blend of natural hair fibers is encased in seamless nickel ferrules on lovely baked enamel wooden handles. We recommend the 1" size for preschool and kindergarten age children. Older children and adults may use both sizes.
Paintbrushes should be washed gently with soap (not detergent) and dried after each use. Brushes that are allowed to sit in water will eventually become loose and the enamel may chip away.
Painting Sponge
Useful for soaking up extra water on your paper when wet-on-wet watercolor painting, leaving paper damp but not dripping with water.
