A fun craft for kids and parents to do together. Wet felt woolly pumpkins to use for squirreling away all sorts of little goodies. This quick project combines the delights of water play and bouncing balls. You'll learn how to felt a vessel and can then apply the same idea to felt containers of all sizes.
Each kit contains materials to make two 3-1/2" diameter hollow pumpkins with a removable top.
- plenty of wool roving to make 2 pumpkins
- wool yarn
- detailed, photo-illustrated instructions
You will need to provide:
- one 3" ball (a tennis ball covered with plastic works well)
- sewing needle and thread
- warm soapy water
- surface that can get wet
Ages 5 to adult.
