This lustrous, single-ply domestic wool yarn has a handspun look and is a favorite among handworkers and teachers. It makes stitches that are clearly seen resulting in accurate counting and fewer split stitches. Wonderful for twisted cords, toy animals, doll accessories, balls, puppets, flute bags and more. Makes soft outerwear such as scarves, caps, mittens and socks.
In Waldorf handwork the bulky weight is preferred for young beginner knitters. It knits up quicker than the thinner worsted weight and it’s easier to see the stitches. One skein is enough for a flute bag.
Made in USA by a multi-generation family business.
If being purchased for felting, note that Cream will not felt properly because it has been scoured.
