Flat Brush for the Grades
After learning to do Waldorf wet-on-wet watercolor painting with a 1" wide paintbrush in preschool and kindergarten, children are introduced to this narrower 5/8" wide brush beginning in First Grade. This classic Waldorf school paint brush for the grades has a natural wood handle and soft cow hair bristles.
With proper care it will last for years.
Paintbrushes should be washed gently with soap (not detergent) and dried after each use. Brushes that are allowed to sit in water will eventually become loose and the enamel may chip away. Store brush flat or in a jar brush side up.
