A heart-warming autumn themed story written and handsomely illustrated by experienced homeschooling mama Jennifer Matthai Garner. Included are four songs, a yummy muffin recipe to bake with your children and a wonder-filled tale with valuable lessons of kindness and acceptance of others.
Young animals gathering nuts in the magical forest meet a curious looking man they have never seen before. Their differences lead to a squabble which is overheard by Mama Louisa and Papa Louis, the kind-hearted care takers of all the creatures in the forest. To calm them Mama stirs up ingredients of happiness to bake a special treat, and Papa stirs up a story about a pumpkin which, despite being different, has something very special on the inside to offer.
