Games for Ages 7 to Adult
The Birds of Summer
A Co-operative Card Game™. Players are parent Birds trying to save their Baby Birds from Predators such as Hawks and Cats. The cards provide 6 Places for Nests, 6 Birds, 6 Predators and 6 Kinds of Food.
All the action takes place on the Neighborhood Chart. Predator Dangers are placed near the Neighborhood. Places to make Nests are played first, then Nests, then Food for each Nest, which attracts a Predator. This game is exciting and educational: memory, math and problem solving skills are nurtured as well.
2-6 players. Ages 7 to adult.
Blot
The seven pieces start as an ink blot. Rearrange them carefully and you can make animals, faces, letters, numbers, birds, ships, etc. A booklet of 60 silhouetted shapes to try is provided. Do them, then create your own. Play alone or as a group. Rules for a co-operative game included. For the clever, the imaginative, the creative.
1-7 players. Ages 8 to adult.
Deep Sea Diver
A real-life adventure game about diving for treasures, and other discoveries! Maybe an ancient wreck. Maybe a flight recorder of a downed aircraft. But watch out for black-tipped sharks and menacing barracuda. You need teamwork to plan the dive, share equipment, get each other out of trouble and to divide whatever treasure you bring up.
2-4 players. Ages 7 to 14.
Mountaineering
Another real life adventure game! The players are a team trying for the Summit. They share equipment, plan their strategies and handle whatever troubles come. Easy card symbols allow younger players to join the older ones. Complicated maneuvers challenge the older. Start at Base Camp, move along with Picks, Ropes, Crampons, etc., past the Snowslides, watching for Frostbite and crippling Snow Blindness! Actual mountain photos form the playboard.
2-6 players. Ages 7 to 12.
