Corriedale Wool Single Colors

A fabulous, all purpose fiber. Corriedale wool has a defined, even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin or felt. Wonderful for teaching or learning. 

100% New Zealand wool from pasture-fed sheep. The sheep are well-cared for, sheared humanely and not mulesed. The wool is cleaned, carded and dyed in a small, New Zealand mill. The wool wash used is environmentally-friendly. The dyes comply with the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, a standard most widely known for certification of ecologically-safe clothing.

Micron 27-30, Staple length approx. 11cm (4¼ins)

Sold by the ounce which measures approximately 2 yards.

Helpful tips:
Wet felted balls - figure 1 ounce to felt a large ball, less for beads
Wet felted pebbles or bar soap (scrubbie) - about 1 ounce for three
