Description
Mulberry silk is pure white and is produced from silk worms which have fed on Mulberry leaves. Silk is pure luxury and has many qualities. As well as its natural sheen, it is strong, resistant to pilling, and the long fibres make it easy to spin. It looks stunning when dyed and blends beautifully with other fibres.
Plenty for your felting adventures or for adding some pizzazz to your spinning fibers. Dye with Jacquard Acid Dyes.
Comes in a ropey length a little over an inch wide and approximately 15 yards long.
Very fine at 10-13 microns.
100 grams (3.53 oz.)
See additional image for example of silk felted with Corriedale wool.
