Made in the USA

Sashiko is a centuries-old Japanese embroidery technique, traditionally used to securely quilt small fabric patches onto thread-bare clothing. Translating to “little stabs,” it consists of simple running stitches in beautiful geometric patterns. It has been embraced by fashion trends around the globe in recent decades and is easily recognized by its signature color scheme of white on blue: natural cotton thread stitched on a ground of indigo-dyed hemp or linen.
