Description
The Corriedale sheep is found on sheep farms all over New Zealand. Its wool has a clear even crimp and is smooth and easy to spin and felt. This beautiful all-purpose fiber is popular for both traditional wet felting as well as dry felting with a needle. Leave unspun and create painted wool pictures or spin into a fine to medium woolen, worsted or semi-worsted yarn. Corriedale will bulk after washing and has good elasticity. Yarn spun from this fiber is ideal for baby wear, woven, knitted or crocheted garments. 27-30 micron, 4.25" staple length.
The sheep are well-cared for, sheared humanely and not mulesed.
Available individually by the ounce.
