Introducing the Choroi Quinta Pentatonic Flute in maple - Choroi's latest innovation in the realm of pentatonic flutes. Building upon the success of their previous models, the Quinta features a redesigned labium that integrates the shape of the old model's windway, resulting in improved performance and resonance.
Choroi's fine wood flutes are characterized by a warm, light, flexible tone and compared with traditional instruments they possess a tone that sounds more like a voice than an instrument. This unique tone quality leads to a corresponding style of play. A free out-breathing, rather than an active blowing, forms the foundation for the tone. The tension-free mouth and lip positions also contribute to the tone formation and the warm quality of sound. The child learns how to finely control the movement of their breath, more so than if playing on a recorder.
Comes with instructions and fingering chart. Accessories included are a wooden cleaning swab and a cotton flute bag. Regular oiling is vital to the flute.
