A kit with all you need to make one mermaid peg doll and felt clamshell bed - a DIY mermaid toy!
There is nothing more satisfying than creating hand-made toys for children from all natural materials. This beautifully packaged set provides you with detailed, illustrated directions and templates to guide you through sewing your very own mermaid peg doll with her felt seashell bed. Made of four pieces of felt, the bed is lined with pink and very sturdy. The peg doll can tuck inside to take a nap, or it would be a wonderful hanging necklace for saving summer treasures if you added a piece of yarn.
The directions include basic assembly directions for beginners and more detailed embroidery stitches for experienced crafters. The pattern is 5 pages long with beautiful hand-drawn illustrations and text. The included Stitch Guide will walk you through every step!

- 3.5” x 8” piece of pink felt (for shell interior and bodice)
- 3.5” x 7“ piece of white felt (for shell exterior)
- 1.5” x 7“ piece of green felt (for mermaid tail)
- Two hanks of cotton embroidery floss
- Peg doll with wool hair already attached
- Embroidery needle
You supply scissors, pins and pen.
