Description
This pure and natural olive oil soap is imported from Greece. It can be used for wet and nuno felting techniques and as a face or body soap, as well as a shampoo for dry hair. It is safe for the most discerning skin types and one bar lasts a long time.
Use the bar to soap up your hands for felting or make a slurry.
Making a slurry helps to:
- Open up the wool fibers ensuring quick and thorough wetting
- Reduce felting time
- Reduce design shifting during felting
- Moisturize your hands

Olive Oil Felting Soap Slurry Recipe
- 1 cup pure olive oil soap grated, chopped or cut into thin shards with a sharp knife
- 1 quart boiling water
Pour boiling water over soap bits to cover, stir or whisk gently every few hours until soap dissolves. Store the slimy, syrup-like solution in a jar for up to 3 to 4 weeks taking small amounts from the jar to make a soapy water for felting. You want the soapy felting water to feel slippery so test as you add the solution to know when you've added enough.
